About Us

The Yankee Clipper Inn is a 1929 art deco mansion that sits on a rocky bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Rockport, MA. The inn is conveniently located 35 miles north of Boston. There are 26 guest suites/rooms, 9 suites in our main building, 10 in our Quarterdeck house oceanfront, and 7 suites across the street in our Bulfinch House, a historic home built in 1840. In addition, we have an oceanfront stone patio and banquet hall for events such as weddings, business events, and other events that can seat up to 50 guests in each area. Our guests will enjoy a complimentary full hot breakfast featuring eggs, pancakes, and other specialties while overlooking the ocean in our breakfast room. Most of the guest rooms in all buildings provide spectacular ocean views. Spacious, manicured grounds and flowered gardens surround this picturesque Rockport inn.

Famous celebrities such as JFK, John Lennon, Paul Newman, Bette Davis, and countless others have been guests at the Inn.

The Yankee Clipper Inn has won countless awards over the years Arrington’s Bed and Breakfast Journal, Boston Magazine and North Shore Magazine. The inn has been featured in Country Living Magazine and on The Country Inns television program.

Guests can sit and relax on our oceanfront pergola patio or spend a quiet moment in the oceanfront gazebo, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the town of Rockport. A salt-water pool. chess and bocce ball are all located on the property for our guests to enjoy.
