As a proud Caribbean girl, I infused bold colors and rich influences into everything I do, celebrating the beauty of my heritage while embracing the local charm. I started painting at the age of five; my inspirations came from all the wonderful books with illustrations of a Paradise. But my art career began at the age of 15, exploring with oils and charcoal Portraits. Years later, I found my own paradise in Cape Ann. As a Caribbean girl and wife of a Gloucester Fisherman, got prime access to the beauty and fascinating colors that the beautiful fishing industry provides.That is why people of very different origins find themselves in my paintings.
