Rebecca Anne Nagle, a contemporary painter and mixed media artist, explores layering and transparency within society and nature. Both movement and emotions emerge from her search for rhythms, lyricism, and repetitions in the visual or metaphysical. Trained as a figure skater to draw circles, patterns, and carve out edges with the blades on her skates, her artworks are formed by the similar application of subtle body movements that once made rhythmic patterns on huge ice canvases.
