Leslie Heffron is a painter, photographer, and filmmaker. Her work reflects her love for both Cape Ann and rural life in her home state of Pennsylvania. Her most recent work celebrates life at Pigeon Cove harbor. Thanks to the generosity of the lobstermen and their families, she received a wealth of knowledge about the lobstering industry. That knowledge had been translated into paintings, drawings, photographs, videos, and short films. She is represented by The Salted Cod Arthouse on Rocky Neck, Gloucester and Galerie La Mer, Rockport. She is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Boston College School of Nursing. Her work has been featured in Yankee Magazine, North Shore Magazine, and Cape Ann Magazine.
