Pre-concert talk with Ying Quartet, 2 PM
The Ying Quartet and double bassist Xavier Foley bring a program of Haydn, Dvorák’s String Quintet, as well as a newly commissioned work by Xavier Foley. The Ying Quartet is known for its dynamic performances and outreach to new audiences, and Xavier Foley is known for bringing the double bass to the forefront of the concert stage as a solo instrument.
