No single artist has done more for popularizing Cape Breton fiddle music than Natalie MacMaster, who has been recording and touring for more than three decades, earning multiple awards, including two Juno Awards for best instrumental album, the East Coast Music Awards' Female Artist of the Year, Roots/Traditional Artist of the Year and Instrumental Artist of the Year. She has also been named Fiddler of the Year by the Canadian Country Music Association.
