The Music of the Sonnet-Lanes Coven

Description

Lanes Coven in collaboration with the Lanesville Community Center, and with support from Dogtown Books, is providing a Free Sonnet Workshop called "The Music of the Sonnet".

 
In this free master class you will enjoy Shakespearean Sonnet recitations by Lanes Coven Theater Co artists, and joyfully dive into the mechanics, music and power of the English Sonnet. Bring a pen or pencil, notebook, wear comfortable shoes, and if you have a small hand percussive instrument that makes a distinct beat and not a rattle (for ex  Cowbell, triangle, small hand drum or wood block & mallet) bring that too! 
 
Accessible to all levels and all learning styles. You'll be invited to listen, write, make some joyful noise, and perhaps share something original at the end of the session.
