DCR established First Day Hikes over 30 years ago to promote healthy lifestyles and active year-round recreation at our state parks. Start your year off on the right step with a guided walk around Halibut Point State Park's outer trails! We'll have stops at significant features and magnificent views. Wear sturdy, warm footwear/boots/ice creepers, clothing layers, sunscreen or scarf to protect your face from the wild coastal winds. Heavy rain/snow cancels.
