On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 pm, Maritime Gloucester is hosting a screening of Sonic Sea, the award-winning documentary that explores the effects of ocean noise pollution in the marine environment. The event will take place at Rockport Music's state-of-the-art Shalin Liu Performance Center where the audience will be surrounded by the stunning acoustics. Following the film, Dr. Leila Hatch, senior ecologist at Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary and cast member will moderate a panel of experts including, Dr. Scott Kraus, New England Aquarium. Tickets are $15 Maritime Gloucester members and students, $20 general admission and can be purchased online through Maritime Gloucester's website.
