Shagalot is a Funk, Rock, and Soul band originating in Gloucester, Massachusetts. An intoxicating, high-energy show that takes you on a rollercoaster of feelings, emotions, and bodily spasms — in a good way. Shagalot is widely renowned for their high-powered shows and antics. Guitar player Mark Pelosi was a high-wire acrobat in Ringling Brothers, Barnum, and Bailey Circus until they closed up shop in 2017. Bass player/singer Ned Nugent was an infamous off-brand Elmo street hustler in Times Square, NYC, until his dismissal for reasons undisclosed due to an NDA. Dennis Monagle is a high-powered hedge fund CEO and socialite, but like for hedgehogs? A charity. For hedgehogs. Tenor Saxophonist Robert Lyons is one of the original founders of Burning Man and a behind-the-scenes co-architect of the highly successful Fyre Festival. Altogether they form Shagalot in all its splendor and magnificence!
