Roger's Street theatre presents "The Chess Player" with Richard McElvain

As part of the Rogers Street theatre's Grand Opening Celebration, a special performance of Richard McElvain’s one-man show, “The Chess Player,” will round out the theatre’s opening week. The one-act drama, written, performed, & directed by McElvain, is the story of an artist, unjustly imprisoned by a fascist regime, who struggles to preserve his sanity. The play has won rave reviews in recent performances in London & New York. See “The Chess Player” on September 13 at 8PM, before Richard heads to Germany to perform it there.
