Rockport Rotary Declaration of Indepence Reading

The Rotary Club of Rockport celebrates the 4th of July in style! The day always begins with the reading of the Declaration of Independence in Dock Square at 10:00 am. The crowd is instructed to respond with a “Huzzah” when something good is read, or a “Fi” when something reprehensible occurs! Rotarians are dressed in period costumes and encourages audience participation.
