Coastal Farming Walking Tour Saturday, Sept. 28, 11:00am - 12:30 pm Learn about Cogswell's Grant in its capacity as a working farm from 1636 to the present day. We will walk through the fields and down to the Essex River, exploring the rich history of all the families that lived and farmed here, and how coastal salt marsh farming here has evolved over nearly four centuries. Admission: $5; free to members of Historic New England
