About Our Presenter
Amanda Nelson has always been a student of history and the arts; however, it was during her study abroad in France that she decided to make it a career. After ten years as a museum curator and consultant, she went to law school. She realized that the arts were seriously underserved by the legal community. In 2014, she founded Artium Amore, PLLC, a law firm dedicated to the needs of artists. You can visit her website at www.artiumamore.com. Amanda’s education includes a B.A in History and an M.A. in History and Museum Studies. Her J.D. is from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law and is focused on art, entertainment, and museum law. She is a board member of the Weeks Brick House and Gardens and Red Arch Cultural Heritage Law & Policy Research.
