Description
Join award-winning Gloucester artist David Curtis, and palette knife painter Marianne Thompson, for a plein air painting workshop at Cogswell's Grant. Beautiful vistas including the Essex River and Great Marsh, farm fields and forests, and our eighteenth-century historic house and barns offer an ideal setting for landscape painters looking to refine their skills with expert instruction. For this drop-in class, bring your own materials and equipment, receive direction as you work, and gather for an end-of-day critique with the instructors. A free tour of one of the country's most celebrated collections of American folk art is available to participants. Weather permitting, please call.
