Description
Join Greenbelt's Director of Land Stewardship and Osprey expert Dave Rimmer to learn more about this extraordinary bird of prey and its successful return to the waterways and shorelines of Essex County. Dave will provide a slide presentation about Osprey, their characteristics and habitat. Dave will then lead a walk to the Cox Reservation osprey platform, and discuss the highly successful osprey program which includes platform building and management, observation and monitoring, and public education and outreach.
