Gloucester is also easily accessible by public transportation on the MBTA commuter rail, which connects Cape Ann directly with the greater Boston area and beyond. Designed for ages 8 and beyond, the CAM Off the Wall Tour challenges its participants to problem solve, act out, use their imaginations and photograph works in the Museum. A trained guide will lead participants to particular works of art and artifacts, but unlike the standard tour, participants will be assigned an activity at each stop. This is not so much a guided tour as a personal adventure through the Museum. Remember to bring a smart phone or digital camera, and of course, a sense of humor! Free for Museum members or with admission. Space is limited; reservations requires for adults and children. Contact Museum Educator, Liza Browning at lizabrowning@capeannmuseum.org or 978-283-0455 ext. 16 to make reservations.
