Please join us for An Evening with Emerson W. Baker immediately following the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Rockport Public Library. Baker will discuss his book A Storm of Witchcraft: The Salem Trials and the American Experience. "Of the many books about the Salem witch trials, only a few really matter. A Storm of Witchcraft is one of them." Malcolm Gaskill, University of East Anglia.

Baker is Professor of History at Salem State University. Featured as a consultant on the PBS miniseries Colonial Houses, he is an expert on the history and archeology of early New England.

A Storm of Wtichcraft will be available for sale and signing following the author's talk and a Q&A.
